As a first step, patients should talk with their physicians about joining PROMISE. Once they’ve decided, patients register online at prostatecancerpromise.org by clicking “Join Us”.
Patients will fill out a few questions online to see if they are eligible for the study. If eligible, they will complete the informed consent process. PROMISE will then mail a simple home-based DNA saliva test. Patients return the saliva sample via US mail.
